Machined rear center showing square hole which was machined into it.

The Ford F-250 axles have had their ends also machined square to fit into the center.

Re machined and welded center from the Model A rear. Now the rear axle is live. . Both wheels turn together.

The rear no longer has a functional differential

These are the Ford F 250 axle tubes which will be fastened onto the Model A center.

The Fairmont wheels will eventually be bolted onto the axle ends protruding from these tubes. The wheel ends of the tubes will be bolted onto the frame with U bolts.

New end was fabricated, machined and welded to the torque tube. The drive shaft is sticking out at top.

The original had no seal and a ruined bearing. This new part will last at least another 50 years
